Job SummaryWe are seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant to join our team. As a Respiratory Care Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner and be responsible for performing various respiratory care procedures, including oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, and patient reporting.
Responsibilities- Perform oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, and manual resuscitation
- Administer oxygen, humidity, and aerosol therapy
- Operate small volume nebulizer therapy and MDI administration
- Conduct incentive spirometry and non-invasive mechanical airway clearance therapy
- Perform chest physiotherapy with suctioning and arterial puncture
- Collect and report patient data
- Training in Respiratory Therapy
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- College Courses in Respiratory Therapy
- Respiratory Care Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
