Welder and Fabricator Job Description

At Waste Connections, we're seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing compactor equipment to ensure our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding and repair of trash/compactor containers, compactor repairs, and trash trucks metal repair in the fleet.
  • Document parts usage and account for repair times to optimize our operations.
  • Effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks and work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
