Job Summary

As a specialized radiologic technologist at CPMC Van Ness Campus, you will assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. This role requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail, as you will be working closely with patients and medical staff to ensure accurate and safe procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize patient flow and procedure room utilization
  • Advise on the provision of radiology equipment and assist with procedures such as angioplasty, biopsies, and image-guided thermal ablation
  • Evaluate quality assurance performance and monitor staff performance
  • Train staff and physicians in relevant aspects of radiation protection
  • Assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures and observe patients during procedures
Requirements
  • Two-year degree in Interventional Radiology
  • One year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician
  • Current AHA BLS certification
