About the Role

We are looking for a caring and motivated individual to work as a Full-Time or Part-Time Direct Support Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist clients with daily tasks, accompany them to appointments, and provide guidance on essential life skills such as grocery shopping and budgeting. Your expertise in communication, problem-solving, and flexibility will be essential in creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with household chores and daily activities
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Teach essential life skills, including personal hygiene and cooking
  • Support clients in developing routines that promote independence and self-sufficiency

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and registration
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Passion for working with people with disabilities
