Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $200,000-$300,000, based on industry standards and experience. As an independent optometrist, you will have the opportunity to establish your own fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees.

Job Description

This role involves providing eye and vision care services to patients in our Walmart stores. You will have autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, and patient schedule. Additionally, you will have access to equipment/instrumentation and administrative support services for a fair market value.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school or Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry advancements
