Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on respiratory health and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (MI)
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
  • Additional certifications may be required
