Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital circuits using Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop FPGA-based systems, including architecture, design, analysis, test, and validation.
  • Support technical reviews and present to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with HDL programming languages, such as VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog.
  • Familiarity with FPGA toolsets, including Vivado, Libero, and Quartus.
  • Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ASIC/FPGA life cycle, including architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration, and test.
  • Familiarity with programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) or Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD).
  • Experience with management of Configuration Control.
  • Experience with Vivado FPGA toolset.
About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in digital circuit design and FPGA development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of FPGA design principles.
