Environmental Technician III Role Summary
As an Environmental Technician III at AIM World Services, you will play a vital role in environmental monitoring, data collection, analysis, and reporting to support environmental conservation and compliance efforts.
You will work under the direction of environmental scientists or engineers to execute various tasks related to environmental assessments, remediation projects, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering policies and procedures in support of the Company's environmental strategies, including waste management, pollution prevention, waste minimization, permitting assistance, hazardous materials compliance, UST/AST compliance, air and water compliance issues, and aspects of environmental management systems.
- Perform activities to support solid and hazardous waste management, soil/air/water sampling, spill response, pollution control, equipment maintenance, waste minimization, and related operations.
- Support training and audit activities that ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform administrative or clerical support as required.
- May be required to provide data to automated information systems (AIS).
- Position requires 40 Hr Hazardous Waste Operations (Hazwoper) certification and ability to maintain annual recertification.
Requirements:
Technical (2-year) degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires technical skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
