Job Title: CAD As-Built Specialist - Digital Drafting Expert


Company Overview: Jr. Davis Construction Company, Inc. is a leading construction company that specializes in civil engineering projects.


Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year


Job Description:



  • This role involves developing digital and paper drawings depicting as constructed improvements compared to plan design.
  • The ideal candidate will have five (5) recent years of design experience on major civil construction projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D in a survey design capacity is essential.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings utilizing AutoCAD and following company drawing standards and engineering guidance.
  • The successful candidate will support overall drafting and design needs of various departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in survey or an Associate's Degree in Surveying or Geomatics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability with current versions of AutoCAD is required.
  • Able to apply theories, principles, concepts, and practices of civil and environmental engineering to the design construction of highway and infrastructure.
  • Good organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
