Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Auto Inc. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient parts selection, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, and offer specials to ensure customers are exposed to our full product line.
  • Parts Selection: Pull purchased parts from stock, assist with warehouse stocking, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Assist with keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with shipping, receiving, and deliveries as requested by management.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Basic math, reading, and writing skills, strong mental aptitude, strong verbal communication skills, and strong personal initiative.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, bending, grasping, writing, driving, and vision. Occasionally climb stairs, lie down, push, pull, reach above shoulders, and lift/carry 75-150+lbs.
Working Conditions:
  • The employee will work indoors and outdoors in a professional office/shop environment.
  • Will be frequently rotating equipment, vehicles, elevators, lifts, tow-lines, etc.
  • Will be exposed to fumes, chemicals, solvents, caustics, etc.
  • Will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
