Job Title: Child Interventionist

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their lives? Do you have a strong desire to help children with autism develop essential skills and reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Interventionist to join our team at Butterfly Effects.

About the Role:

As a Child Interventionist, you will work directly with children and families in their natural environment, teaching them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills. You will make the home-session fun by teaching through play-based activities, using a family-centric applied behavior analysis (ABA) approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism
  • Provide one-on-one support to children in their natural environment
  • Collaborate with families to promote positive behavior change and skill development
  • Use play-based activities to teach essential skills and promote learning
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet)
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families
  • Bilingual is a plus
Benefits:
  • $19.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications
  • Coursework and competency check to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Drive-time pay between sessions

  • Supervision towards BCBA credential available
