  • Demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the communities served.
  • Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining professionalism in a high-pressure environment.
  • Conduct client interviews and summarize their statements effectively.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to support case development.
  • Track billable hours associated with specific cases.
  • Assist in trial preparations, which may involve attending trials and hearings.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, Excel, or similar software.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Be prepared to occasionally extend work hours beyond the standard seven-hour day, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation is essential.
  • Proven ability to draft and file legal documents accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
