As a Senior Project Engineer at Pcmc Inc, you will be part of a team that will challenge you and facilitate your growth.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with industry experts to assist leading global companies in addressing their most complex challenges.

What You'll Accomplish
You'll work both independently and collaboratively to support capital projects and implement effective solutions for our clients. Together, you will assist our clients in making essential changes to enhance their performance and achieve their most critical objectives.
Assess, assemble, and design packaging machinery to develop and modify automated solutions for Pcmc Inc clients.
Act as a project lead/subject matter expert on packaging and equipment initiatives across various sectors (consumer, beverage, food, industrial).

Complete the design and development of packaging lines, including estimation, justification, budgeting, scheduling, design, implementation, acquisition, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and documentation of facilities and equipment in compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.

Develop specifications for equipment design, support systems, and bid evaluations.
Lead communications with vendors (OEMs) and contractors to execute automation solutions.
Provide engineering solutions aimed at continuous improvement objectives utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Evaluate current packaging operations and propose and drive projects to deliver immediate ROI and enhance productivity.
Identify and specify necessary tooling and/or packaging equipment for projects within established timelines.

Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting potential or existing packaging issues and supporting maintenance personnel in problem resolution.

Make a daily impact with your skills and expertise, strengthening relationships with our clients and team.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of packaging lines or material handling solutions, along with project engineering.
Experience in at least one of the following sectors: Beverage, Food, Consumer Products, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or similar.
A comprehensive understanding of various types of packaging equipment across multiple industries.
Demonstrated daily problem-solving abilities, including strategic and critical thinking.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills:
both verbal and written.
Excellent project management capabilities encompassing communication, financial oversight, and team leadership.
Cross-functional networking and influencing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity.
A strong desire and aptitude for interacting and building relationships with clients.
Proven ability to successfully close out projects and prepare for future opportunities.
Experience in drafting scope of work documentation and overseeing contractors on-site.
Solid working knowledge of applicable ACAD, SOPs, and cGMPs.
Familiarity with packaging components and equipment types relevant to those components.
A general understanding of automation control systems.
Willingness and ability to travel as required for project needs.
