Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Edgeworth Park at New Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assisted daily living duties and functions to our residents, including transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens. The Caregiver Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring residents get to appointments, such as salons, transportation, activities, and meals, and will record communications for co-workers, shift summaries, and care notes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assisted daily living duties and functions to residents, including transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens
  • Ensure residents get to appointments, such as salons, transportation, activities, and meals
  • Record communications for co-workers, shift summaries, and care notes
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects or people weighing more than 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation

$16.00 per hour
