We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at DRMP. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings and maintaining knowledge of surveying and mapping principles.
Responsibilities:- Stay up-to-date with current technology and software changes.
- Perform calculations and map data analysis as needed.
- Analyze deeds and research materials to produce accurate surveys.
- Use MTS and FDOT checklists throughout each project.
- Extract linework and features from point clouds using TopoDot software.
- Work with survey field crews to collect data.
- Experience with FDOT projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of CADD systems, including MicroStation, Geopak, Civil 3D, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history required.
- $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
