Drafting Technician

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at DRMP. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings and maintaining knowledge of surveying and mapping principles.

1. Stay up-to-date with current technology and software changes.
2. Perform calculations and map data analysis as needed.
3. Analyze deeds and research materials to produce accurate surveys.
4. Use MTS and FDOT checklists throughout each project.
5. Extract linework and features from point clouds using TopoDot software.
6. Work with survey field crews to collect data.

• Experience with FDOT projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of CADD systems, including MicroStation, Geopak, Civil 3D, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history required.

• $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
