Landscape Designer

Unique Landscaping LLC is seeking a skilled Landscape Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating unique outdoor spaces that exceed our clients' expectations.

• Work closely with our design team to produce and present client designs and projects.
• Use computer-aided drafting software to create detailed designs and working drawings.
• Conduct site visits to measure potential client sites and gather information to inform design decisions.
• Investigate and propose solutions to problems related to grading, spatial organization, and site utilization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest horticultural practices and trends to provide expert advice and design creation.
• Collaborate with our team to select plants and materials that meet our high standards.
• Determine procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and material quantities.
• Facilitate growth in client projects to enhance operating revenues and profits.
• Assist our client specialist in creating cost proposals by providing accurate material and time expectations.
• Perform landscape design work of moderate difficulty and responsibility under supervision.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality assurance.
• Assist our landscape designer and field director in all capacities while gaining practical professional experience.
• Adhere to our company's core values and vision.

• Prior experience using computer-aided drafting software.
• Prior construction and/or drafting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture is a plus, but interest in horticulture is a must.
• Knowledge of Mac hardware and MacOS, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, high energy, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in an office and team-based environment.
• Extensive knowledge of local trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, annuals, and their use in the landscape.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ambitious self-starter with a creative artistic ability.
