About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at MGS Mfg. Group, Inc.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000-$72,000 based on location and experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality inspections on manufactured products, ensuring they meet specified standards and regulations.

You will work closely with the operations team and quality engineers to identify and document any defects or discrepancies.

Your tasks will include:

  • Performing thorough visual inspections of products to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Measuring and testing products using various instruments and equipment
  • Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with production supervision to align with daily production schedules
  • Communicating with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with basic quality instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gage pins
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
