Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Imaging Specialist to join our dedicated team at IU Health Methodist Hospital. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging technology to perform diagnostic scans for patients in a fast-paced environment.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS and ARRT(CT)
  • Additional Certifications: May be required based on specific unit needs. Refer to the IU Health - Certifications Required Per Unit documentation for comprehensive details.
Job Responsibilities
  • Equipment Utilization: Proficient use of Phillips imaging systems including Elite iQon, 7500 iqon, iCT 256, Iqon, and Brilliance 64.
  • Schedule: Workdays include Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
  • Traveler Acceptance: First-time travelers are welcome.
  • Unit Overview: Engage in a variety of programs including Trauma 1, Stroke 1, and Vascular 1, along with advanced examinations such as Coronary CTA, TAVR, Cardiac, and Low Dose Exams.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role, with skills in IV starts, PACS, and various imaging techniques including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal.
Work Schedule
  • Call Requirements: 2 shifts of 8 hours each within a 4-week period, plus 1 weekend shift of 24 hours every 13 weeks.
Additional Information
  • Documentation: A valid Driver's License or Passport is required. Ensure a clear copy is provided.
  • Certification Verification: AHA ONLY RQI is acceptable. Please refer to the "IU Health - Certifications Required Per Unit" spreadsheet for necessary certifications.
  • License Verification: Online verification of license, including expiration and any disciplinary actions, must be completed within 30 days prior to the start date through primary source.
  • Testing: A medication test and pharmacology exam are required, although not applicable for Techs or RRTs.
  • COVID Compliance: Travelers must complete a COVID survey prior to commencement and submit a screenshot as proof.
  • Compensation: Candidates will be compensated for time spent on required modules, with paper timecards to be signed by direct managers.
