General Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and skilled SAP Test Lead to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will spearhead and supervise the testing initiatives for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, as well as the ongoing maintenance of business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As the SAP Test Lead, your primary duties will include:
1. Crafting detailed test plans and strategies for SAP projects, which encompass defining the scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and potential risks.
2. Establishing testing strategies and objectives, leading the execution of test cases, and managing the resolution of defects.
3. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and end-users.
4. Facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of testing requirements and outcomes.
5. Assisting in refining our testing processes as we transition to post-go-live activities.
6. Aiding in the development of a process to maintain our N+1 environment.
7. Working in conjunction with our HST Global team to set up automated testing utilizing the Tosca suite of tools.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in establishing comprehensive test strategies involving both functional and technical groups for large SAP end-to-end implementation projects.
- A strong understanding of S/4 HANA architecture and functionality.
- Proficiency in test management tools and methodologies; experience with CloudALM is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Well-developed organizational skills and experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Physical Requirements:
Visual requirements include the ability to see detail at near range with or without correction. Must be capable of performing sedentary work, including operating a computer and occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds.
Working Environment:
The responsibilities for this position are conducted in a general office setting, where there is a consistent demand to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
Equipment Utilized:
Laptop and desktop computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines, printers, and PCs equipped with Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software.
