About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN Care Manager to join our dynamic team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Develop Patient Care Standards
    • Develop and implement evidence-based patient care standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify best practices and areas for improvement
  • Collect and Analyze Data
    • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care
    • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Ensure Resource Allocation
    • Ensure the availability and allocation of human and material resources to support patient care
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resource utilization
  • Support Collaboration and Communication
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcomes
    • Support the development of strategic plans to improve patient care and department operations
  • Coordinate Unit Operations
    • Coordinate the overall operations of assigned units to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize unit operations and patient care outcomes
  • Facilitate Optimal Patient Care Delivery
    • Facilitate the delivery of high-quality patient care that meets the needs of diverse patient populations
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address patient care gaps and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
    • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
    • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Experience and Skills
    • Three (3) years recent clinical experience in area of specialty preferred
    • Case Manager certification highly desirable
    • Current certification in specialty field preferred
