Job Title: Private Duty Nurse

At Aveanna, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
