About the Role
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in Palatka, FL. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Respond to electrical and instrumentation issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve electrical systems and equipment
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Two (2) year degree in an industrial technology field with at least two (2) years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Experience with industrial controls PLCs, motor controls, control valves, and electrical distribution
- Experience with industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature
- Experience reading electrical and mechanical schematics/blueprints
