The University of Florida's Department of Anesthesiology, specifically within the Division of Neuro-anesthesiology, is actively looking for anesthesiologists with expertise in neuro-anesthesia to enhance our distinguished team.
About the Role
Our Neuro-anesthesia division is recognized for its dynamic and expanding academic practice, which includes a fellowship program and close collaboration with specialists in neuromedicine and neurosurgery. This collegial environment promotes teamwork and innovation.
We operate nine specialized surgical suites tailored for neurosurgical and orthopedic spine operations, including two hybrid endovascular suites and facilities equipped with intraoperative MRI technology. Additionally, we are proud to be a certified comprehensive stroke center.
Each year, we cater to around 5,000 patients undergoing a variety of procedures, with a strong commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to advancements in neuro-anesthesiology.
Our clinical interests and research activities encompass numerous areas related to brain and spinal cord health.

Essential Qualifications:
- M.D./D.O. or equivalent medical degree
- Experience in neuro-anesthesia (neuro fellowship training is not mandatory)
- Proficiencies in clinical care, research, and/or education
- ABA certification or eligibility
- Credentials necessary for obtaining a Florida physician's license
