Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide cutting-edge care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Diploma in Radiology or MRI Program required.
  • MRI Technician certification (MR) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months of hire.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an organization that requires a hands-on instructor-led psychomotor skills verification within 12 months of hire.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in MRI technology, with Level II or Level III experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of all forms of MRI imaging.
  • Basic knowledge of information systems for transferring data.
  • Basic knowledge of Radiology Information Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
