Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grounds Staff member to join our team. As a Grounds Staff member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our lagoon's amenities and land areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to our guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the lagoon, including sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, cleaning metal fixtures and fittings, air-blowing, pressure washing, hosing, emptying and cleaning trash containers and laundry bins, cleaning toilets, mirrors, and sinks.
  • Use chemicals to clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces and equipment.
  • Reset all furniture and ensure all areas are clean and replenished with supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all amenities are restocked throughout the day.
  • Become knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team.
  • Perform other duties as required, including assisting other departments.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • 1 year janitorial/host experience preferred.
  • Basic cleaning knowledge.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long and sustained periods.
  • Ability to work independently for long periods.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
