Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser/Greeter to join our team at Nifty Fifty's. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting our servers and kitchen staff.

• Greeting and Farewell: Greet and bid farewell to all customers as they arrive and depart the restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with servers and cashiers to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
• Accommodating Guests: Accommodate any special needs or requests from guests, such as highchairs, boosters, or disabilities.
• Wait Line Management: Manage the wait line when the restaurant is full, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our guests.
• Supporting Servers and Kitchen Staff: Provide assistance to servers and takeout staff as needed, helping to maintain a seamless dining experience.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized area, including menus, crayons, and other items, and clear plates, baskets, silverware, and glassware from tables throughout the guest's dining experience.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with daily and weekly cleaning projects, empty trash and bus pans, and sweep or mop floors as needed.

• Communication Skills: Possess excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, carry objects up to 30 pounds, and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
