Job Opportunity

UPMC St. Margaret is seeking highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Imaging Technologists to work rotating daylight, evening, and overnight shifts. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols and procedures without requiring constant supervision.
  • Administer PO and rectal contrast as per physician orders and department policy.
  • Ensure all exams are properly coded and tracked through the RIS system, and all charges are adequately entered for the exams performed.
  • Utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data.
  • Interact with patients and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner, demonstrating a strong ability to communicate instructions and explain procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date.
  • ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 12 months of hire date.
  • CPR or BLS certification required.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance required.
