Technical Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating and revising documents to support our manufacturing processes and quality management systems.

• Support document owners in the writing process, ensuring clear and concise language usage and adherence to standardization and change control processes.
• Manage GMP documentation, including routing and approval flows in Document Change Control (DCCs).
• Review local Quality Management System (QMS) documents to ensure reader-friendly language and clarity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Provide specialist knowledge on the writing process to ease understanding and choice of document type, structure, style, and language usage.
• Coach document owners in good communication and standards in operational documents.
• Support document processing in collaboration with NNUSBPI SMEs and process groups.
• Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure projects are completed with metrics and timelines realized.
• Proactively engage in systematic problem-solving activities, collaborating on solutions regarding document processes and quality compliance.

• Education: Associate's degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience in technical writing, preferably in engineering, life sciences, software, or related industries required with an associate's degree. Three (3) years' experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read, write, and understand complicated product documentation and standard operating procedures with attention to high-level concepts a plus. Knowledgeable in core work processes and GMP concepts, knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as LEAN a plus. Expert in change control, MS Word, and highly proficient in the following software applications/tools: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and HTML a plus.
