Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, achieving high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Screen patients and staff for magnet safety
  • Communicate with patients and medical staff regarding MR safety questionnaires and clinical history
  • Prepare scan rooms for procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol
  • Perform quality control tasks to ensure standards are met
  • Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or ARRT registered in MRI
  • American Registry of MRI certification (RMRIT)
  • BLS certification
