**Responsibilities**

  1. Conduct intake assessments for new clients and complete admissions according to policy.
  2. Document notable client interactions, including staff, volunteers, and other clients.
  3. Supervise the chore schedule and room checks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
  4. Oversee the distribution of prescription and over-the-counter medications to clients according to policy.
  5. Participate in crisis intervention, safety planning, and rescue efforts as needed.
  6. Maintain professional boundaries with program residents and reinforce community living guidelines.
  7. Distribute personal care items to clients per protocol and perform program exit procedures.
  8. Ensure the safety and security of the program and residents, including perimeter checks.
  9. Maintain program and client confidentiality, including former clients.
  10. Perform light housekeeping and maintenance duties as assigned.
  11. Answer and document all telephone calls and activities per policies.
  12. Review the communication log book and calls at the beginning of each shift.
  13. Immediately report suspected neglect or abuse to the Executive Director.

**Requirements**

  • Prior experience working with homeless families in a shelter environment is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse issues.
  • Experience working with and supporting volunteers.
  • A positive and compassionate attitude, sensitivity, and ability to work well with others in a close residential setting.
  • Model positive behavior, appropriate boundaries, and sound judgment during times of crisis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats within a small nonprofit organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Possesses a valid Utah State Driver's License.
  • Commitment to serving homeless families and the mission of Switchpoint.

**Compensation**

Starting at $19/hour, with a benefits package including Medical/Vision/Dental, Transportation Allowance, Paid Time Off, and 401k.
