Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in our Emergency Room department and contribute to the provision and management of care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient practice environment, adhering to the ANA Code for Nurses and the Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Meet the requirements for certification and licensure, ensuring current and ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in emergency nursing.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room setting, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including mid-shifts (3P-3A or 11P-11A), and adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
