Job Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Chambersburg, PA area.

About the Position

As an Automotive Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for using the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. This involves measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure optimal tire wear and vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles
  • Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles
  • Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs
  • Complete any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
  • State inspection license preferred

Working Conditions

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
