Description:

The Inn at Villanova University is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dish Room Associate to join our team. As a vital member of our food service team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish room, ensuring the proper sanitation and storage of equipment, and working collaboratively with our management and coworkers to uphold our core values.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized work area, monitoring sanitizer efficiency and recording temperatures.
  • Scrape, clean, and sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and cooking containers.
  • Dispose of garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and neat storage area.
  • Operate the dishwasher, drain all trucks/carts/trash cans/docks, and store all clean equipment.
  • Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, equipment sanitation and storage, and safety equipment relating to the dish area is necessary.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and follow directions.
