The Family Medicine Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care for patients under the direction of the Medical Director and established protocols. Collaborates with the Medical Director to uphold and enhance quality care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and maintain patient charts and information to reflect diagnoses and treatments
- Order tests and consultations for medical staff to carry out
- Review test results for any abnormalities
- Exercise judgment in prioritizing medical care in emergency situations
- Coordinate care with other healthcare team members
- Develop and implement long-term treatment plans
- Address patient inquiries regarding health and wellness
- Provide guidance on nutrition and hygiene
- Manage services in compliance with Clinic's policies and medical programs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in electronic prescribing systems
- Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board Eligible/Certified
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and CPR Card
- Medi-Care & Medi-Cal Provider
