Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Security Guards of America. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol premises and monitor surveillance equipment to prevent and detect security breaches.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to identify potential security risks.
  • Permit entry and exit of personnel and visitors, and obtain help when necessary.
  • Complete reports and maintain a written log of daily activities.
  • Identify and report irregularities, and inform violators of policy and procedures.
  • Restrict access to unauthorized personnel and prevent losses and damage.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old or minimum age required by the State.
  • Hold a valid Guard Card.
  • Have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
  • Have access to reliable transportation.
  • Present a positive and confident professional image.
  • Be able to complete all required training for the position.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be drug-free.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
