Position Overview

The Retail Store Team Member is a part-time position designed for individuals with limited availability who still wish to contribute meaningfully to the CVS Health community. This role allows team members to remain on the store roster and be scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain active status as a front store team member with limited availability.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance when scheduled.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, showing empathy, and proactively resolving service issues.
  • Engage customers with a warm greeting, maintain eye contact, and assist in locating items as necessary.
  • Accurately handle cashier responsibilities, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions, while adhering to company policies.
  • Support store operations by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by management.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Provide support across all departments, ensuring they are well-stocked and operational, while staying informed about services and tools.
  • Promote and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with our mission of enhancing customer health experiences.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs, frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs, and regular handling of light objects.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations as needed.
  • Ability to utilize the Employee Self Service App for shift management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $19.00 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for positions within this job grade. Actual salary offers will depend on various factors, including experience and education.
