Responsibilities

    3. Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments according to infection control guidelines.">
    4. Set up equipment such as suction devices, dental chairs, X-ray machines, and surgical lights.">

  3. Assisting with Oral Surgery Procedures">
    1. ">
    2. Prepare patients for oral surgery, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns they may have.">
    3. Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs and providing the necessary instruments and materials.">
    4. Maintain a sterile environment during surgery, following strict infection control protocols.">
    5. Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort level during surgery, ensuring their well-being at all times.">

  4. Patient Support and Education">
    1. ">
    2. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients, including oral hygiene practices, medication administration, and dietary restrictions.">
    3. Answer patients' questions and concerns, offering reassurance and empathy throughout their treatment process.">
    4. Educate patients about oral health, prevention methods, and the importance of regular dental visits.">

  5. Administrative Duties">

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program is required.">
  • A valid X-Ray License is required.">
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in oral surgery, is highly desirable.">

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.">
