Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Denco Family Inc. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient overnight operation of the hotel while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet guests upon arrival, determine their reservation status, and assist with the registration process, check-in, and room assignment.
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner. Accommodate special requests whenever possible and provide guests with any necessary information to enhance their stay.
  • Revenue Management: Process guest check-outs, complete posting of all charges, and reconcile all departments to the X reading of the register by re-taping all department vouchers from the start of the day's business.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare revenue reports, including all day rates, and post room, tax, and local calls for the day. Ensure that all reports and vouchers are on the General Manager's desk for review and approval.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the housekeeping department to ensure accurate room status updates, and work with the engineering and maintenance division to coordinate guest room maintenance work.
  • Customer Service: Provide information to guests in a courteous manner, and respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling, as well as safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, math skills, customer service skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Skills: Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time. Requires finger dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Availability: Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
