Job Summary:

Lutheran Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team. As a Cardiovascular ICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Valid Indiana RN license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Experience in cardiovascular ICU or similar setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
