Clarion Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardiopulmonary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide respiratory therapy and pulmonary function testing to patients, while also instructing and training subordinate staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy and pulmonary function testing to patients as ordered by physicians, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Instruct and train subordinate staff members on respiratory care procedures and protocols.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests for patients as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed department and patient records and reports.
- Attend regular staff meetings to contribute to the overall plan of cardiopulmonary service.
- Graduate of an accredited program in respiratory therapy.
- Current Pennsylvania State License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Certified in basic CPR course C.
- Registration as required.
- Sufficient previous experience in respiratory therapy.
As a Respiratory Therapist at Clarion Hospital, you will be subject to the hazards of flammable gases and will be required to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand and walk for prolonged periods. You may be scheduled to rotate shifts and weekends as staffing needs arise.
