We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement music therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Document each session in the patient's electronic medical chart (Epic)
- Provide referrals for additional therapies when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists or certification obtained within three months of hire
- Maintain current certification and renew every 5 years
- Experience providing music therapy in a hospital and/or healthcare setting
- Advanced certifications in music therapy
