**Speech Therapist Role Overview**

At Compunnel, we're seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

**Key Responsibilities**



  • Assess, diagnose, and screen for language, speech, and swallowing disorders.


  • Communicate with patients and their families, as well as physicians and educators, to develop and implement treatment plans.


  • Utilize established therapies and innovative techniques to deliver high-quality care.


  • Stay current with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional networks.


  • Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and available therapeutic options.


  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient history, treatment progress, and outcomes.


  • Provide mentoring and workshops for speech therapy students.


  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust therapy programs as necessary to ensure optimal results.

**Requirements**

This role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and a valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience in a clinical setting with a diverse patient population and knowledge of alternative communication methods and assistive technologies are preferred.

**Certifications**

A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
