Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Oak Hill Senior Living. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming, nail care, and dressing needs.
- Feed residents, provide bedside water, and transfer residents to and from dining areas as needed.
- Answer resident call lights and respond to resident requests for assistance in a timely manner.
- Maintain resident rooms by making beds, changing bed linens, and organizing personal belongings.
- Observe and report any signs of change in the resident's appetite, skin condition, or behaviors.
- Offer emotional support and actively listen to residents to help them develop trust and achieve independence.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights and privacy.
- Provide medical record documentation in accordance with facility policy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified by the State Department of Health CNA in good standing.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of programs such as Excel and Word.
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
