Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Antepartum unit at Texas Health Plano. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care for patients in the Antepartum unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program
  • One year of Antepartum experience strongly preferred
  • One year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire required
  • IFM – Intermediate Fetal Monitoring upon hire preferred
