Staples, Inc. is a business-to-business leader, and we're seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect II to drive our digital transformation. As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud-first strategy and modernizing our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement end-to-end enterprise architecture, focusing on business, infrastructure, and technology strategy.
- Collaborate with business partners, senior product managers, and development teams to drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with our cloud-first principles.
- Design and implement architectural building blocks across the organization, leveraging cloud-native solutions and microservices-based APIs.
- Provide architecture oversight for application and technology projects, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and business agility.
- Lead architecture governance and strengthen our federated EA model, fostering a community of architects.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise, technical, and solution architecture, with a strong focus on data and distributed systems.
- 7+ years of driving end-to-end architecture with a focus on business, infrastructure strategy, and technology architecture.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure architecture and development.
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks like TOGAF and ability to adapt to new paradigms.
- Experience modeling motivation, capability, business, and technology architecture.
- Proven ability to bring disparate technical teams together around a shared architectural vision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in computer science or other engineering disciplines.
- Strong Azure cloud experience.
