ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Creative Intern at &Barr, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of creativity and innovation. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals and contribute to various projects that shape our clients' brands.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
  • Support the team in conducting thorough research related to creative strategies and industry trends.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Work closely with Art Directors and Copywriters on daily assignments.
  • Contribute to the development of layouts and written content for marketing campaigns and new business proposals.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and strategic insight, aligning with the agency's core mission and values while maintaining high-quality standards.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Creative Writing, Advertising/Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn about the creative sector, coupled with a robust work ethic.
  • For design candidates, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is preferred.

Additionally, knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, or other front-end development tools, is considered a valuable asset.


WORK SCHEDULE

This internship requires a commitment of 15 hours per week over a duration of 12-14 weeks.
