Job Overview

Boulder Centre for Orthopedics is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a key member of our orthopedic surgery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and other measurements, taking prompt action to address any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in orthopedic care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a Pre-Op/PACU setting, preferably in an orthopedic environment.
  • Acute care experience, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
