This role offers the opportunity to work in a facility that operates around the clock, providing essential health services to employees.
Key Details:
Location: Buffalo, NY
Shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, or 10:00pm-6:00am
Compensation: $25/hr
Note: This is a PRN position, meaning hours are not guaranteed.
The Worksite Health Technician will collaborate closely with medical and operational leadership, local healthcare providers, and client personnel. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional patient care and support
- Managing ongoing workers' compensation cases
- Facilitating Return to Work (RTW) programs
- Monitoring treatment plans and patient progress
- Engaging with external medical providers for comprehensive care
Daily Responsibilities:
- Participate in the daily operations of the on-site clinic
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to established protocols
- Foster strong internal team relationships
- Support employee health and wellness initiatives
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Document care using advanced electronic medical records systems
- Manage medical cases and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor safety and security procedures
- Oversee CCTV and alarm systems
- Enforce visitor access control measures
Qualifications:
- Passion for providing outstanding care
- Valid licensure for the EMT position
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficient in technology and electronic medical records
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Positive and engaging personality
- Willingness to exceed expectations in patient care
- Enjoyment in working with people
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial worksite clinic
- Background in occupational health
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
