Job Title: Patient Access Specialist

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign accurate Medical Record Numbers (MRNs) and complete medical necessity/compliance checks
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Collect and process insurance information, physician orders, and other relevant data
  • Operate the telephone switchboard and relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as needed
  • Conduct quality audits and ensure accurate and timely completion of forms and documentation
  • Pre-register patients and collect point-of-service collections and past due balances
  • Explain general consent for treatment forms and obtain necessary signatures
  • Review eligibility responses and select applicable insurance plan codes
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within 6 months of hire
