Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Substation Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee project activities, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and facilitate effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct project activities, including planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and action items.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with the project team to resolve issues and provide solutions to management.
  • Represent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractors' activities and progress, both remotely and on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and complete required training.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience in the electrical utilities industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism, with a high degree of autonomy and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
